Imagina, a holding that emerged from the merger of Globomedia and Mediapro, is one of the preeminent audiovisual groups in Europe. With strong presence in Spain, Latam, USA and Middle East, Imagina occupies a leading position throughout the media value chain: creates, produces and distributes contents for cinema and TV, and manages and distributes sports events. Additionally, technical engineering, transmission services and marketing and communication consultancy, as well as themed channels or advertising, are core activities for Imagina.
In television, it is the leader in content creation, clearly demonstrated by its presence in all Spanish private and public channels under the trademarks Globomedia and Mediapro. Its successes encompass all genres, from series ("Águila Roja", "Vis a Vis", "B&b", "El Barco", "El Internado", "Aída", "Los Serrano"), to entertainment programmes ("El intermedio", "Zapeando", "El Club de la Comedia", "El Objetivo").
Imagina is, through Mediapro, the leading Spanish audiovisual sports right manager: agent of La Liga for the international commercialization of its contents. Through beIN Sports, Imagina distributes 8 matches of La Liga per week, plus all the UEFA Champions League and Europa League. Additionally, Imagina owns the Formula 1 rights for Latam, and the main European football leagues for Spain, among others.
Imagina is also a reference shareholder in Atresmedia, one of the largest Spanish media groups, operating TV and radio.
